Welcome to the third day in a week of encouragements that will bring you “7 super easy keys to wipe out worry!”
Turning your worries into prayers is a third way to wipe out worry!
We worry about people much of the time. We can’t change them, but we can ask God for His help. Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit know everything about everyone!
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine.”
(Isaiah 43 verse 1 New Living Translation)
A few years ago we stayed somewhere that involved sharing meals with about twelve other people. There was one man there who was often angry and easily offended. Everyone else found him very difficult. It made people feel anxious and worried. One evening we were eating with them all, having a great time laughing and sharing stories. All of a sudden, this man took offence at something, shouted and stormed out. I said, “Please, Holy Spirit, heal his broken heart. Please fill him with Father God’s love and the peace of Jesus. Please help him!”
What is so wonderful is that this man began to change very quickly. His words and actions softened and he even began to laugh and trust other people. He was more relaxed in company. God did a magnificent work of healing through His love for this man.
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life.”

“Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in Him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!”
(Philippians 4 verses 4-5 The Message)
“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious - the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realised. Do that, and the God of peace, who makes everything work together, will be with you.”
(Philippians 4 verses 8-9 The Message/The Passion Translation)
