Welcome to the first day in a week of encouragements that will bring you “7 super easy keys to unlock joy!”

A joyful occasion I remember took place five years ago. I was part of a team ministering on the streets, bringing God’s love to people. A lady I met started to tell me about her little boy, who had been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. I told her that Jesus would carry her and her son, and the Autism and the ADHD Himself, and all she needed to do was give it to Him.

That’s exactly what she did. Her face was radiant with joy as she began to give a long list of things to Jesus right there and then. “Here, Jesus, you can have this as well. . . and this!” The list went on and on! Full of joy!

A key to unlock joy is to let Jesus take the load!

JOY! - Jesus Offers us His Yoke!

When Jesus said “Take My yoke upon you for My burden is light,” He was telling us that He has already taken ALL of our burdens upon Himself for the JOY set before Him (Hebrews 12 verse 2). He suffered so that we can trust, rely and lean on Him to carry our burdens in anything and everything - IF we will let Him!

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” 

(Matthew 11 verses 29-30 New International Version)

“Simply join your life with Mine. Learn My ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in Me.”

“For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.”
